"We had a great stay in Chappell. Many of my family were in town or close by for the weekend. Even though there was a significant thunder rain hail storm on Saturday late afternoon we felt safe in the home. If needed there is a basement shelter although we did not need it. Enjoyed our stay."

"Judy left a voicemail so we knew exactly when we could check in and how to get there, etc. She was so friendly. She let us pet her goats and see the chickens and ducks and Todd the turkey. The silo is so spacious and beautiful inside. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed! Great king-sized beds and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms for convenience. So quiet with a beautiful view and not far from Lake Mac and Ash Hollow. Would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"Highly recommend this property for larger groups. We had 13 of us across 3 families and the house was perfect. Great amenities, beautiful views, well stocked house, awesome backyard and firepit make this an ideal spot. Hopefully the lake returns back to historical levels soon."
