Newly built home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 has queen bed with a sliding barn door, bedroom 2 also has a queen bed with sliding barn door. This home has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake but does not have lake access. This home was recently built in 2023/2024 from a couple tiny homes that we combined and added on to. Since we are located in Christmas, it is decorated all year with snowmen :) We recently added an outdoor hot tub to our home. It is set on the back patio so you can relax and take in the beautiful views after a day of exploring! You'll love the serenity and the privacy of this home, yet how close you are to area attractions such as Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, waterfalls, hiking trails, beaches, etc. It has a beautiful view overlooking Furnace Lake. You are less than a mile from state snowmobile and ATV trails. We are dog friendly and allow up to 2 dogs with preapproval and $75 non-refundable pet fee. You have full exclusive access to home and yard. Unfortunately, there is no lake access with the home, but it does have a great view of the lake. We are available by text, through booking message center or phone if you should have any questions before or during your stay. Home is a short distance to casino in Christmas, Foggy's Steakhouse, and a gas station. You are only about 5 miles from downtown Munising where there are Pictured Rocks Cruises, Glass Bottom Boat Tours, Sand Point Beach, waterfalls, etc. In Munising, there is a grocery store (Pat's Foods), Family Dollar, a couple hardware stores, and numerous restaurants. There is room to bring a boat if you have one and there is a public access to Lake Superior within 5 miles from home. There is also room to bring snowmobile/ATV trailers and then you can ride from the home to hit the trails. The driveway does have a little hill with a turn and could be a challenge to turn around and get back down if your trailer is over 20' long. There is plenty of room to park trailers at the bottom of the hill if needed. In the winter, 4 wheel drive is recommended to get up the little hill, but you can always park at the bottom as well. \*\*Signed rental agreement and security deposit hold required for all reservations. Primary guest will need to upload a picture of government issued ID and list names and ages of all other guests in their group. \*\*There are 2 exterior audio/video recording devices on the property. One faces the front door of the home with the driveway and the other faces the back door. They checked in on us often with the weather, kept us updated with road closures, brought us food when we were snowed in, and were just very personable and thoughtful! The space itself was bright, well-stocked, and felt like home. Only things to note is that you can hear the highway outside (not noticeable inside the cabin) which takes a little bit away from the nature getaway. Quiet and relaxing. The cabin was beautiful, well equipped and has a lovely outdoor space. Close to the Pictured Rocks attractions and trails yet very quiet and peaceful for the evenings. Place was very nice and extremely clean. Owner was helpful and check in/check out was seamless. We enjoyed spending time around the fire pit each night.
