Also we paid to have 2 small dogs with us but Leslie the host instructed us to keep these dogs on a leash and 'under control' whenever outside the rented house as her own 3 cats were 'outside cats that don't like dogs' and they liked to roam the property. I had initially asked if she keep her cats on her property. She reiterated that I was to leash the dogs when they were outside. Disappointing." The room was very spacious and clean with a impressive amd comfortable bed (had the best nights sleep). We relaxed in the hot tub every chance we could get. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on the first night and found the reading area to chill in afterwards. All staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay a fantastic one. The hotel is a very short drive from Hanmer Springs so was ideal for what we needed. We would stay again next time we are in the area and would highly recommend."
