"Amazing location and a beautiful cottage"

"This was a very last minute anniversary treat getaway so had not really done much research into the property. Honestly the location and size of the garden was just perfect for us. My bulldogs love racing around parks/fields and red roofs garden was like their own private park. Due to the weather they got extremely muddy, red roofs has the perfect space to let them dry off before letting them in main house (apologies for how muddy the provided dog towels got) the lane the house is on is also a godsend as one of our bulldogs has a fear of moving cars and we usually can not road walk her at all, no problem here - that was such a treat for us to be able to walk out the front door rather than us have to drive her somewhere. The house itself was just our style with the lounge being a stand out room complete with open fire and very generous amount of logs and coal. The dogs and ourselves enjoyed just chilling out looking across the Broad I imagine in summer it will be an amazing space having the French doors open. The downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and loved the electric blanket on the bed, so thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the usual pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc and the large dining room was a big treat for us on our anniversary meal, even though we felt a bit lost in such a big room with a big table Even though we only had a short break, we came away feeling well rested and really enjoyed the few days peace and quiet. Definitely recommend this property and would love to come back at some point."

"Parking easy. Perfect location for the beach and dunes. Very comfortable and well appointed. Welcome pack lovely but could have done with a pint of milk. Shop nearby so not a deal breaker!!"

"Celebrating my 60th birthday in Winterton with my wife and 2 dogs ,have visited regularly over the years ,first time in this cottage ,chose for location place does what it says in other reviews ,we really enjoyed our stay , good instruction for heating as we needed it .tv ,and appliances Beds comfy , would like to visit late summer to enjoy the garden Has in other reviews a upgrade on shower as it is low flow and maybe a bath installed as enough room Would recommend staying here"

"We stayed for five days at the end of January. The cottage was warm, well equipped and Lisa very welcoming. The garden is very secure so dog friendly. A bus stop over the road and beach walks straight from the cottage meant we didn't need to use the car. A dog friendly pub close by, together with post office, cafe, shop and fish and chip shop meant every box was ticked. Two days of glorious sunshine also helped!"

"Absolutely brilliant "

"We stayed at Old Church Barn in January and can highly recommend it. There's spacious off road parking and a 'wow' factor even before you enter. On entering and taking off our shoes, the underfloor heating was most welcome. The exposed beams and partially rendered walls are lovely and the attention to detail is exceptional. The best way I can describe it is to say that it is dressed in the way you would if it was your own home. Nothing is "that'll do, it's only a rental". If you visit between November and January, make sure you go to Horsey beach to see the seals! We'll be back soon."
