"Married couple own the lodge. They are both very nice and helpful. They have four dogs. One dog bark's a lot. Bora Bora has lots of hungry stray homeless dogs. Perhaps they provided a home to some. Also, there are other houses next to the Lodge. People make noise. Need ear plugs. You need a car or scooter for transportation. Avis rental is at the Vaitape dock where the airport water taxi drops passengers off. Use the Avis Bora Bora website to reserve a car or scooter. The lodge is 3/4 mile from...

"Smartest stay we ever booked. Everything about the Villa Alana was better than expected. Clean, functional, luxurious, plenty of space, pool and outdoor area excellent. Close to all amenities that Vaitape has to offer. Arii, our contact was lovely to coordinate with. Efficient and professional at all times. Can’t recommend this property enough.
