'Our 3 days at the Ocean's Breeze beach house were wonderful. We had families from San Jose, Winchester and Paso Robles, CA come together to enjoy the beach and the quaint surroundings of Morro Bay. Day 1 we explored Morro Rock and ate a great lunch at Bayside Cafe. Day 2 we spent the afternoon at Montana De Oro State Park. We collected rocks and shells and had a picnic lunch. At night we enjoyed the amenities Ocean's Breeze has to offer.'...Yates family
Property Description: The custom country kitchen is fully equipped and the ideal atmosphere to create a delicious meal and chat around the antique chopping block. It is a great house for entertaining. It’s the perfect place to get away, located on a short quiet street with hardly any through traffic. Room to park six cars in the driveway. Conveniently located near downtown, beaches, hiking and boating among other activities in the local area. Add all this to a stunning golf course within a half a mile, deep-sea fishing, Hearst Castle, wine tasting at some of the best wineries on the Central Coast, observing the elephant seals, monarch butterflies and blue herons, kayaking in the estuary, shopping on the Embarcadero, art galleries and, of course, San Luis Obispo with its Farmer's Market and Mission. Highway One is one of the most scenic roads in America.
Bedrooms: The two queen-sized bedrooms have televisions and there is a large flat-screen in the living room all with DIRECTV including HBO channels. High-speed DSL internet including wireless is also provided. Beautiful views of both Pacific ocean and the surrounding hills. A wonderful experience awaits you at this large family home with comfortable furnishings, linens and amenities. Special community events include the January Bird Festival, Cayucos Fourth of July Parade, Morro Bay Harbor Fest in October, and the lighted boat parade in December. There is something for everyone, especially fun and relaxation!
Regarding Pets: Cats or small dog okay. We are pet lovers too and appreciate being able to travel with our dog.
Security and Safety: both floors have a fire extinguisher. There are smoke detectors in common areas and each bedroom. There are carbon monoxide detectors in the upstairs and downstairs hallways. For any emergencies, call 911. Local police, fire and vet info provided in the welcome infographic via email and laminate in unit. The area is extremely safe. But, always be aware of your surroundings when you leave the house. The fog gets bad here a few times per year early AM. If you are traveling in the early morning, give a few minutes extra and take it safe. The intersection at Cuesta College and HWY1 can be dangerous. Mind that traffic signal. There is a single Ring Floodlight Cam at the entrance of the house at the front door. This does not point inside, but at the walkway and street. There are NO cameras inside the property. We respect your privacy and autonomy. First aid kit is in the pantry. There are racoons at night. If you hike, stay away from tall brush on black hill. Montana de oro also has ticks from all the deer. If you are headed up the coast on the 1, after ragged point, the road can get slick if foggy. Give yourself a 30 minute buffer to be safe.

This home holds so many wonderful memories for our family. All eight of us had plenty of room, nice sleeping accommodations, and we all had a great time once again!
Beautiful big house near downtown Morro Bay. My family and I could walk just about everywhere. Lots of room and thoughtful amenities throughout the house. Very much appreciate the ramps and hand holds to help those with less mobility. Thank you!
Large and Nostalgic - makes for a great group stay!
My friends and I had a wonderful stay here. The host was extremely responsive and directions were clear. The house itself was very spacious and it was great to have 3 bathrooms for our group of 10. The neighborhood is pretty and you can walk down the hill to the main street for bars, food, and shopping. You are are also a 5 min drive to the Morro Rock surf break which we enjoyed! If you have 8 guests, everyone has a true bed. If you have 10, two are on a sofa bed in the game room. Overall the house is charming in that its an older but well taken care of home that was nostalgic of my childhood beach house. The pink kitchen and bathrooms were a hit with my group of girl friends! It was comfortable and I would stay again. Thank you to the host for sharing a slice of peaceful & friendly Morro Bay living with us!

The house is large with plenty of room for our party of 8 plus a small dog. The host was responsive as we had an issue with the heater thermostat. The host also allowed us to park in the area in front of the house as there were no tenants staying in the place above the garage in the back. A few of things they can improve on. The house is very outdated and the pictures online must have been taken a few years or more ago. The house lists a useable fireplace down stairs but its not usable. They also list a jacuzzi tub, but that is also not usable. As we were we packing to leave, i checked under the couches and beds to ensure we didnt leave anything behind. These areas had a thick layer of dust and pet hair. This might have been the reason my granddaughter had an allergic reaction during our stay. Whoever they have cleaning the house, certainly doesnt clean these areas. Like i said, the house is large, but needs updating and a through cleaning.
My extended family had the best time at this house. Easy walking to shops and groceries, and lots of sleeping arrangements that helped everyone be comfortable for the weekend.
Loved staying in this former family home. Great location - we walked to shops, restaurants, and lovely Morro Bay. There was plenty of room for our group of eight to gather in the living room. Check in was easy and our host was very responsive.
Amazing toplace to stay for the 10 people in our family! Very warm, welcoming, and wonderful!
Great location, fantastically stocked kitchen, great living room and game room!
Loved every minute and can't wait to return!
Great location -- so close to town and even a nice longer walk to the ocean! Older home, some issues with appliances, kitchen was not the cleanest. But great place for a family with dogs! Ping pong table was a hit!
We had been evacuated because of the Creek Fire. This is just what we needed to get away from the smoke and the worry.

Nice house
Very good experience. The house is very spacious and everything was clean. Enough towels and a large kitchen that allowed us to prepare our food, for which it was convenient and economical. If someday we return to Morro Bay I will definitely look to stay in the same house. Thank you Sharon

Great getaway place!
This is our second visit to Ocean's Breeze, to celebrate our friend's birthday. We had another awesome stay with multiple families. The house is roomy, very well maintained, has plenty of household items, kitchenware and supplies. Floor plan allows to have privacy in your room, if you need it, or socialize with a larger group in the dining area or by the fireplace. Loft has a tennis table and plenty of games to choose from, to keep younger travelers busy.
Also, Sharon has been very accommodating to our needs and is pleasure to deal with. Overall, we had a 5-star stay and will definitely come again.
We did enjoy the property but had issues using the television at first. The ping pong table was nice, but my family has experienced table tennis players so the equipment was on the old/unusable side for them.
The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We had to contact the host to get dishwasher detergent and to unlock the washer and dryer room as well as turning up the water temperature which only got lukewarm. They did reply promptly to make the changes. I was surprised that no soap or shampoo was supplied for the baths and showers. Lots of parking in the driveway but it was tandem so cars had to move to let out the first one in. The space was large for our family of 5 adults and 2 children. Loved having a ping pong table. We were very happy that we were allowed to have our dog. We would probably stay again as it really suited our needs.

The home is roomy, beds comfortable, and the kitchen well supplied with dishes, pans, etc. Check-in and -out were easy. For the price, I expected better quality. This is an older house that has not been updated, therefore the level of cleanliness and overall condition of the property, especially the living room furniture and all window blinds, were unacceptable. The parking situation is cumbersome, only allowing parking in the driveway. I would not stay here again.
Hoping for repeat vacations in Morro Bay for years to come
We had a 2 week family vacation with different family members coming and going as their schedules permitted. This property is spacious. We were comfortable and never felt cramped...even when we were at max capacity with 10. The teens enjoyed having the game room to hang out in. The kitchen/dining area accommodated our large group without issue. We were close enough to everything to walk. My favorite room in the house is the HUGE walk-in pantry. They provide everything..."just look in the pantry"
The house is older but charming. Mattresses were very firm, you might want to bring your own pillows as the ones at the house are basically flat. Kitchen has pots and pans and dishes, silverware etc. except we couldn't find a can opener so we bought a hand crank one and left it there for others to use. We enjoyed our stay because we got to all be together for the week-end, the house slept 8 adults and 2 kids easily. Ample parking and a quiet neighborhood. I would stay here again. We love Morro Bay.

Morro Bay Retreat
My friends and I had a wonderful time during our stay in Central Coast for a weekend retreat with my longtime peeps. The place is spacious and cozy. It was a bit dusty and stuffy when we first got there but after airing the place out, it was comfortable. However, there was some bugs biting especially in the living room area and upstairs where the table tennis is. We know it wasn't mosquito because one of my friends is allergic. My guess could be fleas although I did not see any. The kitchen was nice but it could use a working blender and some pots and kitchen tools could use some upgrading. Other than that, we had a great time. With a few minor changes, I will recommend it

Not my First Choice
The house had large rooms and the upstairs game area was nice. However, the floors were dirty and not clean throughout the downstairs. Bare feet out of the bath became dirty and hair ball under kitchen table. There were not enough towels for 10 people for 3 days. The washer and dryer listed on amenities was not available and the host did not unlock the outdoor closet where they were housed until the last day we were there even though I repeatedly asked for their use as soon as we checked in. They were old and rusted and we were afraid they might get rust on the clothes. Unfortunately, we had to pack sandy clothes for our next destination. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. Overall, the place was disappointing even though the location was good and the house is big.
