"Checked at 11.00 and room was ready. Nice public areas and everywhere smelled beautiful. Room is minimalist but that suits us. Comfy beds with pristine linen and towels. Location is excellent. 5 minute walk to old town and the nearest bars and restaurants are 1 minute. Restaurant for breakfast was very good. Rooftop terrace and pool were really nice. Pool area not big but never seemed crowded. There was nothing complimentary in the room as the tea, coffee and water were chargeable and expensive in my opinion. There is a bus you can arrange to Faro Island beach, not sure if there is a charge as we preferred the ferry which is €3.90 return and more fun. Overall, lovely and will return if staying in Faro."

"Spectacular last minute family trip to the southern coast of Portugal! Needed to escape the hustle and bustle of Seville for some R&R and Pine Cliffs Hotel was perfect for us! The grounds are spectacular, beautifully groomed with direct beach access. The restaurant directly on the beach served up high quality ceviche and drinks and there were ample beach chairs with shade available for our use. The 1 bedroom suite we reserved was spacious and clean though did show some signs of wear but was still clean with comfortable linens and towels. The breakfast bullet provided plenty of options to choose from with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries and the typical fare of higher end buffets (espresso drinks, juice options/smoothies, omelette station, etc). We would definitely stay again next time we visit southern Portugal!"
