"We were unaware on our reservation through Hotels.com that our reservation included breakfast and dinner. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and dinner was basically the same every night - not what I am looking for in a vacation. Still the dinner is very good. "We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. Kaiseki dinner was just exquisite and delicious as well as the breakfast next morning. Almost like a fine dining experience. I tried the all the hotsprings available at the property: one in the suite, the private one that’s locked up (free if you get the suite), and the public bath one. We were very glad we paid the extra money to get the Royal suite as both the private springs and the tub in the room get a very nice view of the bubbling river with lush mountain in the backdrop. Highly recommended and we will be coming back when we visit Fukuoka again. We rented a car and it was a breeze and took only one hour. Located in a very sleepy quaint town called Saga. "
