The views from the room was beyond picturesque, it was one of those moments when you just sip your coffee and just look at the sun riseing up out of the ocean with the volcanic looking island scattered along the cost and think this is something. "It was a nice and being welcomed experience in this hotel. Their staff are very nice and helpful, there will be free parking if you pre-book with the hotel, and there is a big bath tube open for guests for free which is a bonus for relax before sleeping!"

"Upon check in I explained to the staff member my Japanese was not very good and asked them to speak slowly. They spoke fast. I asked them again to slow down but they continued to speak fast. It was a little embarrassing for me. The elevator takes a while since there is only one. The room was a standard business hotel room, but the pillows were hard, and there was an incredible amount of dust collecting behind the TV. On the other hand, the onsen was nice, and parking was free and convenient. "

"Great hotel/hostel linked to a cafe, shop and cinema. The hotel was great overall, but by comparison to the rest of the facilities, the room felt a touch basic, if perfectly comfortableand spotlessly clean. Great location in Karatsu, within a 5 minute walk to the train station and on a great pedestrianised street full of great shops (mainly with pottery goods). Would totally recommend."

"We stayed one night in the Royal Suite with its own hotspring bathtub in the room. Didn’t realize it at the time of booking but it comes with the best dining seating location which gives the best view of the lush and tranquil garden, free private hot springs downstairs, and a huge suite room. Kaiseki dinner was just exquisite and delicious as well as the breakfast next morning. Almost like a fine dining experience. I tried the all the hotsprings available at the property: one in the suite, the private one that’s locked up (free if you get the suite), and the public bath one. We were very glad we paid the extra money to get the Royal suite as both the private springs and the tub in the room get a very nice view of the bubbling river with lush mountain in the backdrop. Highly recommended and we will be coming back when we visit Fukuoka again. We rented a car and it was a breeze and took only one hour. Located in a very sleepy quaint town called Saga. "

"Old fashioned Japanese hotel, but clean environment. Free coffee on arrival and light breakfast was offered. Open air onsen was very nice Only issue was, there was no toilet inside the room which things a bit interesting at night when the human nature was calling.
