The house is walking distance to nice restaurants and shops on North Avenue. A 10 minute drive to Downtown Milwaukee and Fiserv Forum (Bucks). American Family Field (Brewers), Milwaukee County Zoo, Marquette University and the beaches of Lake Michigan are all close by. There are plenty of things also in walking distance. The house is on the older side so it had very squeaky floors and some janky DIY fixes around the place. Overall a great stay for my family. Be careful if you are tall because the stairs and rooms on the second floor have some angled ceilings. We did not use the fireplace. Kitchen had the basics needed for a brief stay. It was difficult to cook due to poor lighting in kitchen. The fireplace in the living room is a tripping hazard. Beds were uncomfortable. Rooms upstairs need black out curtains as the sun comes up early. The towels were cheap and the bathmats were placed as rugs in the bedrooms.
