Having easy access to the freeway, it is a great location from which to travel throughout the greater Milwaukee area. It's a perfect place from which to explore the city, or to relax and enjoy the home and its amenities. Walkable access to downtown Milwaukee or just three minutes by car, Uber, Lyft or taxi. My home has 6 bedrooms (with 7 beds = 2 king, 3 queen, and 2 twin XL), plus 2 single-sized convertible mattresses (good for kids). My home has 3 full bathrooms (1 on each level) and 1 half bathroom on the main level. There are multiple common areas, including a main level living room with seating for up to 15, a large kitchen with two areas of counter seating, a large dining room with seating for 12, and lower level game room with a couch and chairs. There is plenty of space! This is my primary home, so it is fully equipped with all necessities. I have a fully stocked kitchen for you to use and I always provide coffee, tea, and hot chocolate as well. The finished lower level rec room is complete with a TV, billiard table, foosball table, dartboard, air hockey and many board games, party games, and puzzles for all ages. Some exercise equipment (free weights and yoga mats) is available on the upper level loft. The back patio provides additional gathering/seating space with a fenced-in, shaded patio with hot tub. A gas grill is available for your use, with grilling utensils in the kitchen. The patio area opens up to a large back yard with hammocks, room for our outdoor games like bags, bocce, and frisbee. Great for family and friend get-togethers! I love my neighborhood, and for many reasons! My home is located on a cul-de-sac in a quiet, safe, and diverse residential neighborhood a mile outside of Downtown and Lower East Side. Many restaurants, bars, music and sports venues, and grocery stores are within a 5-minute drive. There is a brewery with arcade (Dead Bird), and a local coffee shop (Pilcrow) only 3 blocks away. It is a great downtown-adjacent location with a suburban feel. Please message me if you would prefer a personal meeting and tour during check-in. Alternatively, I will message you prior to your check-in date with a personalized entry code. For entry to the home there is a deadbolt with a personalized electronic security code. The personalized code may also be used by you for the 24-hour monitored home security system. If the home is set to “Armed Away” on the panel, the system will disarm when you enter your access code on the front lock when returning. The security system includes three security cameras which monitor the front of the home and the driveway, and back gate off of the driveway. You may park six+ vehicles on the new driveway depending on their size. Be sure to pull up and not block or obstruct the sidewalk that crosses the driveway. Per an agreement with neighbors, street parking is not permitted. If additional parking is needed for registered guests you must reach out to me ahead of time. (If you find that vehicles do not fit on driveway without obstructing sidewalk, you may temporarily park on street and contact me to make other arrangements.) Be sure to remove all valuables from your vehicle as is recommended for all cities. Check-in is after 3pm on your arrival date and check-out is before 11am on your departure date. Early check-ins and late check-outs: Persons may request in advance to extend the house rental times, when available, at a rate of $50/hour or a partial-day negotiated amount, payable in advance of your stay. Due to cleaning and other scheduled items late check-outs are charged $100 per hour or portion of an hour. If you have a flight or travel plans that conflict with these times please let us know, whenever possible we will assist with luggage storage, etc. You can also request modifications to your arrival and check out times free of charge closer to your stay and if the schedule permits I will be happy to accommodate you. \*\*\*Be sure to fully review and share the House Rules before booking.\*\*\* I strive to make your stay the best it can be, so please let me know beforehand what event brings you to town, and if you have any specific requests or needs. I am here to help and will plan to accommodate your family or group the best I can! All bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The house is older on a cute cul du sac near downtown. Easy to get to the lakefront or anything in the downtown area. The location is super convenient to enjoy a lot of Milwaukee. In a very safe feeling and quiet neighborhood. There was tons of space and bedrooms for multiple families to stay at the house while still having privacy. The communal spaces were also great for gathering, and the outdoor amenities were also excellent. Plenty of things to do when at the house. Highly recommended. It was also a very short drive to everything downtown. We also walked to Carver Park and enjoyed the playground there. Hosts were very responsive as well. ##### Ben K. Paul was very receptive to our inquiries, it was easy to find and the location was ideal. In the interest of full disclosure, it is quite close to some rough neighborhoods, and while we did hear plenty of sirens we never once felt unsafe. I especially loved the gardens and lilacs and pollinator friendly yard (wow!). The layout offers multiple places to convene (or escape, not everyone wanted to watch golf all day) and multiple things to keep the 20-something kids entertained. Many highlights, including the hot tub - super clean and new. Loved our stay! ##### Paula P. MKE is already such a fun spot, and this property & hosts made it that much better. We hosted my bachelorette party at Paul's place and it was fantastic. So much space for our attendees to sleep, hot tub, decompress, hang out, etc. Paul was extraordinary to communicate with - quick, accommodating and kind. And the location?! This was an excellent home to celebrate the holiday with my children and grandchildren. The hosts were very responsive to any question, and even offered sites to see, and even referred a mechanic when my daughter had a car issue! The property is in a safe, convenient, yet quiet cul de sac. It was perfect for our weekend. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking (we even found and used a large Kitchen Aid stand mixer!), the large dining table was perfect for meals and the many board games provided. The kids and grandkids enjoyed the outdoor hot tub (extra beach towels provided). The 6 bedrooms with comfortable beds, offered plenty of space and privacy for us too! I’d definitely stay here again! As we spent most of our weekend at the house, we enjoyed lots of meals and appetizers together, and washed a lot of dishes. My only wish would be to have a dish drying rack and/or a few more kitchen towels available. ##### Chris D. Séjour de 3 nuits en octobre 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Cindy C. 4 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Multi-Generational Family Gathering in MKE 3.5 stars for a nice stay in Milwaukee for our family, ranging from 1yo to 70yo. Owner Paul was easy to communicate with. Well-stocked with supplies for renters including towels, bath soaps/shampoos, kitchen equipment, spare pillows and blankets. Older home did have some appliances that could use some maintenance – outdoor gas grill had a make-shift plastic cup where drip pan and rack should be, dishwasher detergent compartment flap broken so couldn’t run loads, and stove-top light out. The basement is understandably cooler than the main floor, but 2nd floor then also considerably warmer than the main floor, although home had extra floor fans on 2nd floor to try to help with this. While enough bedrooms and beds for our party of 13, have to be aware that size of hot water tank in home probably not intended for this many; on the first night, a few of the kids yelped through showers that turned cold on them while the baby was having a bath and someone was hand-washing dishes after dinner. Great to have three full bathes, but had to anticipate hot water use and stagger/time showers and dishes. The shared/entertainment spaces were great and the highlight of the home. Kids loved the hammocks in the backyard while grandparents supervised from the well-furnished and relaxing patio, and basement darts and pool table were a hit. ##### Cindy C.
