If you are looking for a quiet, woodsy, lakeside cottage then this is the place for you! The home is well maintained, very clean and the property owners have thought of everything! There was nothing we could think of that wasn’t provided to us. They are also very nice people and were communicative throughout the booking process & our stay. The home is cozy and welcoming. There is a beautiful view from the back deck and a cozy screened in porch. We didn’t use the Sauna while there, but Chris had cut wood for us and had it all ready in case we wanted to. If you are looking for a place that gives you the U.P. experience of being on a lake but away from tourists, this is the perfect place for you! The hosts have done a great job of updating the home with modern amenities while keeping the right amount of rustic charm of the original home. Perched high on a quiet and beautiful inland lake, whether you sit on the screen-in porch, the open air deck or dock by the water, you will feel like you have the place to yourself. The hosts open their vacation home such that you feel like it is yours and provide you with everything you need for your stay except for food and drink. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking indoors as well as an outdoor gas grill. If you don't feel like cooking, multiple restaurant suggestions are 5, 15 and 30 mins away. Beds and linens are comfortable and accommodating to everyone's needs with extras. The use of the sauna is a great benefit after a long day of hiking. The house is located such you can go explore in every direction. Book this house as it is truly a gem! Cannot wait to go back in the fall to explore more. ##### Meghan B. The house was immaculately clean, well maintained, and outfitted with all of the items to make it feel like home. The deck was amazing- we enjoyed the swinging chair and the gas firepit especially. The lake was beautiful and deep enough to jump off the end of the dock. Our hosts were very helpful and easy to get in touch with.
