"I am so happy my wife and I had the opportunity to stay at the Farmhouse. Since our retirement in 2021, my wife and I have traveled a lot. The Farmhouse is one of, if not THE best places, we have stayed at. This is a 5-star house, meeting all of our needs and in a location that was quiet and comfortable. The house is clean and charming with spacious rooms all decorated beautifully. The screened-in porch on the side of the house is a total game changer, and it is great for group dinners and early mornings to read and listen to the birds. The bedrooms are roomy and beyond comfortable. The two bathrooms are equally nice with plenty of room, especially the bathroom off the double bed suite. In addition, the kitchen and living room are amazing, well-equipped, and will meet 100% of your needs. Further, the grounds have an amazing amount of space. This is a total A place to stay; I can't recommend it enough. Thanks to Lynn and Mark for creating a very comfortable and wonderful place to stay. We will be back!"

"Thin walls transmit lots of noise. Unfortunately, I was awakened both nights by noisy neighbors, once around midnight, once about 1 am. And again at 5am. Being that this is a renovated barn there just isn't enough sound buffering. All that being said my room was spotlessly clean and beautiful. The mattress was comfy, with plenty of pillows. The bathroom with the sunken, large whirlpool tub was fantastic. The kitchenette set was great. "

"Overall, our stay was good. We stayed on a cold and damp Easter weekend (arrived April 3rd and left April 6th) so I wanted to start a fire in the fireplace, but notice the fireplace was filled with ashes and had to remove those ashes before starting our fire. The fireplace had a glass door on the front of it, but the glass was severely blacked from many uses and once the door was closed, you could not see the fire. I tried to clean the black soot of the glass, but it would not come off. The owner does provide firewood, but it is very old and rotten. The owner does have good firewood but that is locked up for emergency use, in case they have a power outage and the wood is needed for heat. Other than the fireplace, the rest of the home was clean when we arrived.I love to cook, so we ate in for most of our meals. I would suggest to the owners to update their cookware, the cooking pans are old and handles are cracked.The master bedroom is very comfortable with a large bed, TV and fireplace. This home is located in a beautiful area...peaceful and quiet. Was it worth the 900 we spent for 3 nights...maybe not."
