Large grassed backyard area running the full length of the house is well suited to families with kids, the cubby house is also a great bonus for the kids. Only a ten minute (900 metres) walk to Rye front beach, and walk along the beach for a few minutes and you are at the Rye strip of shops with lots of cafes to choose from. I was one of a party of three (not the person who made the booking). House location is perfect. Kitchen lovely and well fitted out with everything we needed. Bathroom lovely. Size of the house is perfect but sadly that's where it ends. So much upkeep required. Toilet roll holder broken. Toilet door handle broken. Exhaust fans in bathroom and toilet so dirty. Window sills dusty and dirty. Lounges dirty, stained and lost any support. No cushions to make it comfortable. All three of us were really unhappy with the beds. So uncomfortable and we all truly feel like we need some physio. Cobwebs all around inside and out. Lawns and gardens need some attention. Obviously dogs have been there previously. Dog faeces dried and through the lawn. Needs a really good overhaul. As I said great size and location and would love to revisit but not in its current state. ##### SHARON A.
