The staff were extremely helpful and the room was clean. The hosted hour for drinks was a nice touch. We had everything we needed included. What made our stay here exceptional was the luggage storage on check out. We were out and about in Melbourne when we received an email from the lancemore to advise that our passports had been found in the safe. Rooms are spacious and super quiet. Beds are like clouds which made for a restful sleep. The only minor negative and I mean minor, was the poor shower water pressure and the constant juggling of the hot and cold to get a consistent temperature. But don’t let this turn you off. It’s a great hotel and the prefect location to the ‘Paris’ end of Melbourne. However, you could hear (loud) the tv on in a neighbouring room, the footsteps in the room above us and also conversations in the corridor of the hotel. We were on level one so you could hear everything outside too. I’m thankful that we were staying on a Monday night and not a weekend.
