It was very stressful. They finally acquiesced but still required us to leave a damages deposit (which we agreed to obviously). Other than that it’s a clean, modern hotel. The noise from the street is crazy. Allll night long. For that reason alone I wouldn’t recommend. Unless you’re into that party scene of course. We left too early in the morning to try the breakfast. Generally speaking the staff was very night. I had a great time during my extended stay. The staff were fantastic whenever I needed something or even just to greet me and check if I needed anything. The hotel is right across from the Malecon which is awesome to walk or jog in the mornings and evenings . There's a nice Starbucks within a 4 min walk and other restaurants. The Free breakfast was great too. So refreshing to have breakfast facing the ocean.. they have a little kiosk downstairs where you can buy soft drinks and snacks..it was very convenient. The Free coffee and tea in the lobby area was a bonus. Overall, I had an excellent experience and they even called me a taxi to the airport. Felt super safe and comfortable.
