"Pros: The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciated their generosity with lifts to the station on our arrival and departure. The apartment is very spacious with lovely mountain views from the veranda and the kitchen is very well equipped which made self catering easier. It is well located for the Penkenbahn and Ahornbahn cable cars and bus and train connections throughout Zillertal as well as the swimming pool, shops and restaurants in Mayrhofen. "Sehr nette Vermieter, freundlich und besorgt. Der Blick aus der Wohnung direkt war nicht nennenswert, da die Wohnung im Kellergeschoss liegt, aber wenn man raus geht, hat man einen wundervollen Blick auf das Zillertal und dabei kann man auf der Sonnenterrasse sitzen. Skifahren war toll, noch nicht so viele Skifahrer, aber auch noch nicht so viel Schnee. Die Wohnung mit der ruhigen Lage ist optimal für zwei Personen."

"Wir hatten wirklich 2 sehr schöne Wochen in Bruneck. Das Appartement und seine Lage mitten in der Altstadt passte perfekt dazu. Man ist direkt im Geschehen und gleichzeitig mit dem Rad oder Bus in wenigen Minuten in der tollen Umgebung. Durch den Südtirol-Gästepass ist der gesamte ÖPNV in Südtirol kostenlos! Perfekt! Das gleiche gilt für die super Betreuung und den Service. Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienwohnungen und -Häusern, aber selten hat alles so toll geklappt wie hier in Bruneck. "

"The location is a bit off the beaten path, but has a beautiful drive up to it. There are hiking paths all around. The host is great and gives good suggestions for places to go. The rooms are clean, spacious, and stocked with everything you would need. The best base for hiking or driving around the area for sure!"

"The room felt very old and outdated. The pictures shown online during the booking process looked modern and well-maintained, but the actual room was quite different from what was advertised. This was disappointing, as the photos created a completely different impression. The breakfast was also below expectations. There were very limited options, and the overall quality was not great. For a hotel in this category, I expected a better variety and fresher choices. On the positive side, the sauna area was very good and well-maintained. It was definitely the highlight of the stay. Additionally, the staff were polite."

"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"
