"My room at the front was a little noisy, it was hot so I needed the windows open which I suspect didn't help. The floors are quite old and creaky, but I slept really well. There is aircon in the restaurant, good selection of food and drink and friendly service, breakfast was pretty good, I thought the buffet selection looked nice (I had eggs Benedict). The water pressure on the shower was a bit feeble, but I really liked the hotel and would definitely go back."

Room ok, The hotels inability to provide a fridge even when it's for critical-for-life medicines is a bit troublesome and will probably force me to stay elsewhere when I'm back in Ayr later this year. Breakfast is menu-ordered. Very tasty but far too small given the continental buffet options were extraordinarily limited."
