"We had a great time at Leon and Elaine's cabin. The cabin itself is well set up and we had all the essentials we needed for sleeping, cooking, and bathing. The outside space is great, we had a fire almost every night and paddled as far as we dared on the large lake which is easily accessible from multiple points on the property. Leon was very helpful with information and supplies and patiently made friends with our shy dog over the course of 6-ish days. There's some great hiking near by and a medium-sized grocery store about 20 minutes away. We would stay again."

"We have been renting a home for our extended family ranging in age from 10 to 80 each summer since 2018. This was one of our favorites. The kids had a great time swimming & fishing off the dock. We were fortunate to have a boat with us that provided tubing, knee boarding, fishing, & sunset cruises. The kitchen was very well stocked w/appliances & there was room for more than 1 cook when needed. Beds were very comfortable & 5 BR’s were perfect for us. We had a dog with us too. The large deck & Blackstone were great for outdoor cooking. The ping pong table in the basement was an unexpected plus! Even the 1 rainy day was fun with plenty of room inside for all. Communication w/owner was very good - some minor issues dealt with quickly. We were not sure the refrigerator was working properly & the garage fridge did not seem to work but we managed ok. I would highly recommend the property for large families. "

"We loved our stay at camp my own! Such a cute and cozy place and perfect for my husband and two dogs. We brought our boat and did a lot of fishing. Lots of small mouth! The place is amazing being right on the water and we loved hanging on the dock. Such a special spot ! "

"We love it here at Schoodic Lake the house is beautiful and perfect for my family! It’s not far from my aunt Cindy Davis who lives on the lake view side of Schoodic lake so we just take are 4wheeler through the trails by Wildwood and go visiting! There are some many trails by us to ride on my family and I enjoy are trip to Maine every year and we are already booked for next year!!! Can’t wait to come back next year and for years to come!! Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home every year we come up!!!"
