« I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. »

« Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. »

Also enjoyed the fact that we could have our dogs, the big yard was great for them to run and play. Misty the cabin owner was also very nice and a joy to talk to. If we are ever in that area again we will definitely rent this cabin again. Oh, and the donkeys across the driveway were a joy also. »
