Everyone was very nice even during their Reno. Food was good. Room was clean. Air was cold. Parking was plentiful.

We've been staying at this particular Hampton Inn the last 4-5 years (once a year for a trade show). I always loved the comfort of the beds at Hamptons. There has been little, if any, improvements to the facility since we started staying here. Breakfast is mediocre at best.
In all fairness, they do have a sign in the lobby asking guests to excuse the mess. The 3rd floor is closed off for remodeling. So hopefully the rest of the facility will receive a face-lift shortly.
The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. The lighting was dim in the rooms and there was a delay with the light switch upon entering the room. The breakfast was better than expected based on pictures of what they offered. The website is misleading though in regards to the pool- there is no longer a hot tub/whirlpool, it has been tiled over. The pool room was always locked so we would have to have it unlocked for us and for 2/3 of the days we stayed there was no heat at all. It was miserable for the kids. The third day they finally turned on the pool heater but asked if we could wait a few hours to use it as they had just turned it on. Unfortunately we had plans and were leaving soon so we never got to experience a heated pool.
The property is nice and pretty clean. The only issues we had was no hot water in our shower . Luke warm at best ,but the water from the sink was super hot. Also the bathroom door needs rehung as it wouldn't close properly you had to pull up and just about slam it to get it to close. All in all not a bad place but for the amount of money we spent for just one night there hot water and door that close I didn't think was too much to ask.
Great hotel. Comfortable beds. Has been recently updated, however the security viewer on the door had a tissue stuffed in it and the door appeared to have been pried open with a crowbar at some point.
Overall it was a nice place to stay, very clean and courteous staff. The only thing I would improve is having more than 2 larger towels when 2 guests are booked. Would stay again though.

The pool was clean and warm, since it is winter it was nice to be able to swim and feel comfortable. Breakfast bar has nice options.
