Property includes modern purpose built games room with bar area, pool table, table tennis table, dart board, large screen TV, record player and log burner (for winter) and large pergola area (for summer). Property is approx 900m from the town centre and walking distance to a number of local vineyards, bars, cafes and restaurants. Property is pet friendly, with fully fenced backyard. Could do with a clean up in and out. We cleaned the dishes, bench tops, and drawers by hand before we ate as everything had a sticky feel. Kettle was filthy. Boiled our water on the stove. Was off putting seeing cameras in the games room area. Couldn't get the tv to work in the games room, and no instructions either, so didn't end up not spending much time in there and that was one of the main reason we booked. So that was disappointing.There was however plenty of space for a family. About a 10min walk to Martinborough, and a short drive. Lovely outlook, and having the wineries next door. Perhaps it would be a nice gesture for guests arriving in the cooler months for the host to turn on the heaters before the guests arrive to take some of the chill off the air.
