We picked Marathon because it was centrally located to what we wanted/needed to do. This house was the perfect size and location. Super conveniently located to everything you need. Communication was a breeze, the house is spotless (and looks brand news), and well stocked with the things you need. There is a pool and a private dock (we even saw a Manatee at the dock one day). Location was excellent on a canal and close to sombrero beach. Loved the bunk room for the kids. The upstairs patio was used every morning and evening. The pool was perfect size especially since my 4 year old is still learning to swim. We spent hours in the pool. Plenty of spots to sit and shade. Kayaked, paddle boarded and fished from the dock. We really enjoyed the pool. Kitchen was well stocked with many utensils and dinnerware. Would have been nice if there were throws or light blankets, as it did get chilly.
