The house is gorgeous and stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and labeled so it was easy to find and put things away. There were plenty of towels for the pool to go along with lots of pool toys. The boat dock was perfect for our 39’ boat and had lights, water, electricity, and the cleaning station. The house is ideally situated right behind Publix too! This is a beautiful and well maintained house that made our annual fishing vacation even better! Everyone loved the pool and fishing off the dock. The one thing that I do not believe it states in the description is that there is a flight of stairs to climb to enter the home. I was surprised when we arrived to find stairs we had to climb with our luggage. We also would have enjoyed the property more if a kayak, paddle board and fishing poles were supplied. ##### Ruth H. Our primary purpose for the trip was to scatter our parents ashes but we did stay for a week and get some vacation time too. We picked Marathon because it was centrally located to what we wanted/needed to do. This house was the perfect size and location. Super conveniently located to everything you need. Communication was a breeze, the house is spotless (and looks brand news), and well stocked with the things you need. There is a pool and a private dock (we even saw a Manatee at the dock one day). It has plenty of things to do for kids and adults alike. We rented a 25’ boat and easily navigated our way through the channels, off shore, and to restaurants. Location was excellent on a canal and close to sombrero beach. Loved the bunk room for the kids. The upstairs patio was used every morning and evening. The pool was perfect size especially since my 4 year old is still learning to swim. We spent hours in the pool. Plenty of spots to sit and shade. Kayaked, paddle boarded and fished from the dock. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms! The sitting area is fantastic especially for larger groups.
