The Manatee Bay has the best of all worlds. It has a large custom fiberglass pool situated next to a 20 ft+ deep and beautiful swim able and fish-able lagoon. The Lagoon is filled with all sorts of different wildlife, including an occasional manatee, turtles, and all sorts of fish. It is the perfect place to learn to Paddle Board, Snorkel, or Kayak. There is Quick access to the open Gulf at the end of the lagoon, with a large dock out into the deep water with room for 3 boats. The back deck of the manatee that overlooks the lagoon is gigantic, plenty of space for socializing and taking in the view, or getting a suntan. It also shades part of the pool so that you can enjoy some of the pool even after you have had enough sun. The manatee even has a heating system for the pool, one side of the deck is totally screened so that nothing can interrupt your good time.
The open floor plan of the Manatee Lagoon is great for large parties; the big great room and open kitchen make a perfect location for spending your vacation during meal times. The underneath of the home is totally open for covered parking out of the Keys Sunshine. Marathon License #PLR2003-00134

We have a great pool table by the pool, perfect for keeping an eye on those little ones while unwinding after a hard day of play on the water. There are so many neat creatures in the lagoon to see at the Manatee that you will be amazed. It is the perfect place to Kayak, Paddle Board or Snorkel, that is why we include Kayaks with the rental.
We also offer the lowest price in boat rentals for your weekly trip to the Keys. They range from a 17'-28' Boston Whaler, 4 stroke yamaha outboards. They are delivered right to the dock and picked up at the end of the week.
\*\*\*\*\*Check in 4 pm, check out 10 am. \*\*\*\*\*\*\*We supply the first roll of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels. Pls bring soaps and paper products with you. There is a Publix and Winn Dixie about 2 miles down the road.

#### Fantastic Location
We enjoyed the dock, porch, and pool very much. Manatees, pelicans, and even a shark were novelties for us as New Englanders! So many cool restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Minor cosmetic issues other reviewers mentioned, but didn't put a damper on our experience in the least. I was anxious about cleanliness, but was happy to see that the house was quite clean. We would 100% stay again!

#### Vacation in paradise
The house was located perfectly around everything. The house itself was amazing from the pool to the hot tub to the dock with all kinds of wildlife. We saw manatees and sharks swimming by daily! The house had everything you would need and was super clean! We will for sure be back ! One of the best places we have stayed! Can’t wait to book again!

The location itself is nice and close to everything. The heated pool and hot tub were great, especially due to the chilly weather we had while there. The A/C worked great. The house definitely could use some TLC- the recliners in the couches don’t work, there is junk sitting under the house that should be removed, tile has chipped off the pool, the fence around the pool is not sturdy, not all wall sockets function, and the plumbing could use some work. Property manager responded quickly to an emergency that occurred. Good price point for marathon but what you pay is what you get.

#### An excellent location.
Overall we had a great time. Some things were clean, some needed additional work. But Wendy is on top of it all. She was very responsive to everything we brought up and we had a great time kayaking, seeing all of the turtles, tarpons, nurse sharks and manatees. The pool was excellent and the space outside was lovely and incredibly enjoyable.

It was really amazing. We saw a lot of wildlife. Manatee dolphins pelicans iguanas. The only thing that was an issue was a few of us got a lot of nose bites, but he better bites down there than bites in Minnesota and the summer.

#### The good life at Manatee
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The kitchen, wrap around (front and back) decks, screening porch for breakfast, the pool and most all the dock with turbo bench to name a few. Bed's were great and the jets and rain water in master shower was surpise! Hope they will continue to rent out house with new owners as i would like to sign up again!

This house was in a perfect location. Directly on the water allowed us to see dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles on a daily basis. We enjoyed using the kayaks/paddle boards and the pool was a great temperature (nice and warm!) The few minor issues we had (we couldn't figure out how to work the hottub, and a inside door handle was sticking) were immediately rectified. The property manager (I think his name was Adam) responded quickly and was polite and accommodating. We had an excellent vacation!

#### Wonderful Week in the Keys
Beautiful neighborhood right on the canal. Had a manatee swimming around the dock a couple of times and got awesome video. Some minor things in the house need repaired which i reported so it will be turned in to the owners. House could use a derp cleaning, but beds, dishes, towels were all clean. Id definitely stay again. Wendy was very helpful and responded quickly to all questions we sent her way.

#### Wildlife Hot Spot
We have rented a house in the Keys for 20 or more years! This property had some great features and some not so great features. To start, the kitchen was big and sufficiently stocked, the pool was nice and cool everyday(Which has never been the case in the Keys). There was enough table seating, which is also rare. The dock was nice and fit our 36 foot boat; there was always some sort of wildlife on or under the dock! We had visits from pelicans, seagulls, frigate birds, Swallow tail kites, parrot fish, tarpon, barracuda, and the best was the manatees! The place wasn't cleaned great and the king bed was broken in the middle, we had a few other small issues as well. Everything was handled in a quick and timely manner! There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 bathroom that is split between 2 bedrooms, you share the shower but have your own toliet and sink. Overall I would stay here again!

Great layout of home. Good size pool. Good size dock. Nice covered parking. Nice screened porch. Nice little bait freezer. We did see 5 manatees under the dock. Turtles & Tarpon in the basin. Need to hire a different cleaning company. We had to clean the house when we arrived. To include mopping the floor. Kitchen faucet only trickles water. Guest bathroom shower knobs are falling off. The queen guest room only has 1 working power outlet.They ran an extension cord to the bathroom to power the twin room.The a/c quit working one nite & we had to wait 5 hours for the a/c company to show up & fix it. No fans in the bedrooms. Both reclining sofas have the power cords cut off, so they do not recline. The pool pump does not circulate water. Burners need to be replaced on the grill. We have rented several homes in Marathon. You expect a couple minor issues here & there. With the extra fees we have to pay nowadays, the magnitude of these issues is unacceptable.

The location of this property is excellent — close to everything and in a beautiful setting. However, several issues need attention for this home to reach its full potential.The dock bench was not secured and bent backward off its brackets, making it unusable. The end of the dock was also unstable and a bit unsafe.The pool was cloudy during our stay, and all the pool deck chairs were falling apart. All the showers had visible mold, and one of the bedrooms had holes in the wall. The master bathroom had a leaking toilet and a strong urine odor.On a positive note, the upstairs patio/ grill area was very nice and functioned well without any issues. Also the kitchen was clean and functional. With some repairs and maintenance, this place could be truly top tier.
