The hotel was clean and very well kept. The staff was accommodating and always cheerful. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend a stay.
The location and price make this a worthwhile stop. It's a noisey neighborhood. It's quirky, so not for everyone. Clean, internally quiet, and conveniently located by Rizal Park (I booked this for the New Year's fireworks), the US embassy, aquarium, and historical sites.
The cafe and lounge are way cool and underutilized. In Chicago, this would be a huge hit with the roaring twenties crowd!
The quality of rooms was below standard. Our first room had no hot water, aircon did not work properly and the door would not shut. The staff were very friensly and helpful and we were moved to another room. Though, this room was better with working aircon and hot water there was obvious wear and tear in the room with leaky taps and broken toilet seat. Overall, not the best experience.

Ma'am Jeselle Santero is the lead supervisor there at the property. She is very friendly and helpful.
The room was old and smelled of mold and mildew. The pillows smelled of moldy feathers, and the sheets smelled moldy too. By 2 am, I couldn't sleep and was freezing because there was no way to turn off the air conditioning. I knew I would have had a medical emergency if I had stayed another night in these conditions. I checked out the next morning. I told the staff about the problem, and all they offered was a different room with a better view instead of the wall of the next building over. It wasn't a view issue, and I couldn't get them to understand it was a health issue. They said they wouldn't refund me for the remainder of my stay. I checked out anyway and went to a newer hotel with a first-rate experience.
