« Property was excellent in all areas that mattered to us as seniors. Clean comfort facilities and appliances accessible and access to management when necessary. The township and people were lovely, freely sharing information and knowledge. Weather on this occasion was perfect. Our only criticism is really one for council and authorities to improve. « My husband, myself & our friend were warmly welcomed by Julie & Greg on arrival! We found the accomodation clean, the kitchen well appointed & overall perfect for our needs. We went for a walk in the bush behind the property & had dinner at a pub in Creswick on our 1st night. We explored Creswick town & surrounds, then attended a wedding on our 2nd day, which was only 10 minutes drive away! Would come back again! »

« Overall our stay was good. We found Kate to be lovely and gave us a good run down of the in and outs of the cottage. For staying at the cottage in winter though we did struggle a bit to get the house warm, and had an issue with the power and water on the first night. Both were sorted out quickly though. It doesn’t have wifi, but the tv and in built dvd player worked well. It was great that the stove top has gas, and the kitchen mostly has all that you need. The rooms were found to be cosy, but...

« I really enjoyed staying in Kate and Felicity's space. The bath and being able to have a fire were treats and I love the history of the place, and all the love and care that Kate put into restoring the miners cottages. Though this cottage is not old, much care has been taken to create old world charm within it. I didn't anticipate the road noise, but overall it didn't disturb the tranquility for me. Waking to birdsong was a joy. »
