A stay at Bel and the Dragon is always a pleasure. Great atmosphere, nice staff, fantastic breakfast. Cookham is a cool place for a walk along the Thames and numerous restaurants in the village,

The stay was beyond belief. The quirkiness of the rooms. And the ambiance of the restaurant superb. The staff at breakfast were amazing, attentive and a credit to the establishment.

An absolutely brilliant hotel in a truly delightful and historic village. Our bedroom was at the back in what is known as the Cottage. It was extremely comfortable, decorated with great care, and had all necessary amenities. Dining area gave the option of sitting inside or out, and although we did not dine there, we had a wonderful breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival we were given one of the best hotel tours I have ever had. Can recommend extremely strongly. If you are staying there I would recommend visiting the Stanley Spencer Gallery across the road as well.

Last minute stay and very pleasant surprise. What a beautiful hotel. Room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Lovely building with a mixture of original 600 year old pub with an amazing restaurant and outside area. Staff could not have been more pleasant. Our breakfast was a delight with a choice of some excellent alternatives.

Lovely hotel, really nice touches, pillow spray, very cute cuddly dragon on the bed and free night caps that you could help yourself to.Breakfast that was cooked to order with a good choice, cannot fault the hotel or the staff, would definately stay again

This was the perfect, most charming place to stay for our overnight in Cookham. The room was absolutely spotless and was decorated like home. The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed bubble baths in the huge tub. The pub itself is beautiful, and we loved having our drinks by the fireplace. Highly recommend!

Could not fault my one night here. Lovely room, comfy bed, big tv, nice big shower and lots of hot water. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced, breakfast looked great but I had not enough time to stop and eat. This place is a great advert for staying in a country pub:-)

Stayed here for business at a corporate event at Hedsor House - this was a hidden gem, and great value for money! We got there and were served by friendly, informative staff - the room was perfect for what we needed and the breakfast was plentiful and great quality. Would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We loved this little B&B in Cookham. It was located on an adorable street. It had a beautiful garden and restaurant. The room and bathroom was large for England standards. We loved our stay here.

The breakfast was good. Plenty of selection but I don't think all of it was cooked fresh. The bacon was very hard and not easy to cut. The toast was not as one would expect toast to be, it seemed as if it was bread that was put in a pan with oil and served. But nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
