The owner is fantastic and easy to contact. The view from the terrace is fabulous. We start for hours just watching the sea and the surfers. Can’t recommend it enough. Easy to walk to some great restaurants on an evening. You will love it. My only regret is that we did not book it for longer."

"I loved it, the cactus garden outside my bedroom window, the rustic nature of the place and our host's care and friendliness. The place was clean, with a well equipped kitchen including a water filter tap. Lovely to be able to light a fire in the stove when chilly in the evening. Gautiza is very pretty and quiet. "We had a wonderful three day stay here! Our room was spotless and had beautiful tiling in the bathroom and on the balcony. The two pools are gorgeous, always plenty of sun loungers available (and they will get more out for you if you need). Enjoyed 7.50 cocktails at the pool bar! Breakfast was great, big selection of delicious pastries, hot items etc and a station cooking omelettes and pancakes. Dinner was also good, again there is a station cooking steaks, pork chops, fish etc to order and dinner has a different theme each night of the week. 10 min walk to the beach (would recommend Playa del Jablilo over Curachas as it's nicer for swimming) and lots of bars and restaurants nearby for drinks and lunch. Would 100% stay again."
