Hotel Estelle is in an excellent location. That is the greatest asset of this lodging. The room is quite small, but adequate, given the extremely convenient location.

The property is what it says it is. Nothing more. The shower was clean and warm and the windows when opened in the morning give way to a bustling morning ground. Very convenient to the train station as the river and bridges. Self check in was okay. The downstairs restaurant to store luggage only works if you leave after they are open. We did not so we used Bounce app.

Starting with the good stuff…really nice location. Once we were able to repair the bed frames ourselves (with twine and broken slat boards) and wiped away the cob webs that we saw in every corner and along the floor boards, it wasn’t too terrible. Reaching out to the hotel for assistance was a complete waste of time. They NEVER responded to our request for assistance on the broken beds. They did have clean linen and towels for us each day. Knowing what I know now about them, I would choose to stay elsewhere if I visit Lucerne again.

The self-check experience was new for us, but we were not met with any issues. In fact, there is even an option if you lose your room key, which we were grateful for. The space had fans, and wonderful windows for fresh air. Bed was firm, and we appreciated having our own comforters. Location was great, about an 8 minute walk from the train station and even less time to shops and the waterfront. (Lots of cobblestone roads, so be prepared for that with your luggage.)

It was well located near the main riverside area. We enjoyed our stay here. Only problem was that our table fan was making a bit of noise but that wasn’t a big deal and nothing to do with the property itself. We can recommend this stay.

The location is very good, very near restaurants and the chapel bridge. The room is clean, small but no AC but there’s 2 electric fans. It is self check in. We was trapped in the elevator for an hour, good there’s a room nearby and another guest who helped us and looked for a number to call. It’s an old elevator so be careful.

Nice little hotel - well located near the train station and the old town Centre. Small hotel with comfortable rooms and comfortable beds. The only negative is that it is old.- probably built in the 1960s/70s and have never been updated. But extremely well maintained. other than that quite comfortable and good value for money. I would recommend.anyone to stay here.

The hotel location was ideal for the two nights we stayed. However the room itself felt dirty. Each night we returned we were welcomed with a strong warm odor. Bed was a bit stiff. Overall a decent value room for passing through. Would not prefer staying more than 1/2 nights.

Great location, right in the old town and you can walk from the train station in 5-10 minutes. The gentleman at the restaurant was very friendly and helpful. There’s no AC but it was a cool day and we had our windows open.

The room is conveniently located to the old town area. You are a short walk from the river. You’re not overlooking the river despite what the pictures represent. Our room was a good size and had been updated. It was relatively clean. I would consider staying there again. The self check in was relatively easy. You will not be allowed to check in early but can leave bags downstairs with the restaurant. The French pastry restaurant on the square directly across from the hotel is great.

The location is excellent! Unfortunately it is on a busy square with deliveries starting early in the morning, so a bit loud. We loved having a mini refrigerator and a kettle in the room. The beds were very firm. Too hard for our comfort, but that is an individual preference. The self check took a while, but instructions were good. Wifi info is on the wall by self check in.

It went smooth like others have said the top rooms are very narrow and you could potentially intricate if you're tall so if you're above 6 feet or above, I would request a room that wasn't at the top like I had.. great location , no problems

The hotel is in a very convenient spot close to everything and only 10 mins from the train station. The self checkin kiosk and locked doors after 2100 was amazing. It was very quiet. The only downside was no air conditioning but the fan did work well. When we arrived the toilet had a gift from the previous guest and was not cleaned. Other than that it was excellent. We were in the 4 th floor and enjoyed the Lift!
