The property is run down needing numerous upgrades. The pictures of the property are old from previous years and therefore misleading the condition and amenities offered. It is in need of repair. I was very uncomfortable and would have left but I would have not been reimbursed. I did not sleep. I would recommend you remove this hotel from Expedia.com. Because looking online is deceiving of the hotels condition. Not good for Expedia. For

I love Malibu because of this Motel! It give you the real feeling of living by the Pacific Coast! It's comfortable and peaceful and beautiful! The staff is amazing! I will always stay here when in LA!

Some addicts were having screaming sex on and off in the room next door to ours. This went on until after 5:00 am. After that, I was so angry I couldn’t sleep. Worst hotel stay ever.😡

We just needed a simple hotel to stay for the night because we didn't feel up to the 3 hour drive home after a long day of hiking. The hotel did the trick, we just needed a hot shower and a place to sleep. We were hungry too and the guy at the front desk recommended the restaurant across the street and it was great! The hotel itself is nothing fancy and it needs some maintenance, but it was clean and comfortable. We wish we could have figured out the decorative fireplace thing and struggled a little to figure out the heater. We were happy that there was a fridge and microwave and coffee maker, the coffee was good but there wasn't any stir sticks provided. The location was good, definitely walkable to the beach or across to the restaurant if needed.

The room was clean and comfortable with a cute outdoor patio overlooking the garden. Super close to the beach and really good restaurants. Friendly staff. Great stay!
