Guest House (attached apartment) on the side of a historic home in a gated community in Pasadena just a few blocks from the famed Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena with word class restaurants and shops. Enjoy al fresco dining on the private wooden deck off the entrance of the apartment surrounded by beautiful trees. This space is very peaceful. FYI, This is an attached guest suite of a home. We live in the main house and there’s a chance you could hear us. But you won’t see us :) No parties or loud music & NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND. Please treat this like your own home because this is our home. 🙏🏻 This is a brand new listing! Nestled in a historic home, it was full of character around every corner. We especially loved the big windows with beautiful views of the trees, letting us soak in the scenery and enjoy a refreshing breeze. The cozy kitchen, though small, kept the cook part of the conversation, making family meals enjoyable. We ate in every night and found the bed comfortable with soft sheets that made winding down easy. The beautiful shower was also a fantastic plus. There were a few quirks to note. The stove had a cooktop with only one working burner (there are only two to begin with), though I’m sure this will be addressed before the next guest. There’s no dishwasher, so we found ourselves hand-washing dishes after each meal, which wasn’t a big issue for us. Additionally, the apartment has quite a few stairs, so packing light is definitely helpful. The main drawback, and likely the reason we might not stay here again, was the noise from the main house. While you have your own private space, sounds from above started around 7:30 each morning, with footsteps and other activity that were noticeable. We’d hoped to sleep in on our getaway, so the early morning noise was a bit disruptive for us. Overall, though, the charm and beautiful setting made it a lovely place to stay. It could be a great fit for early risers or anyone who appreciates a unique, character-filled space! ##### VonCile G. My husband and I enjoyed the beauty, quiet, remote feel, and lush greenery of the hillside neighborhood. Especially enjoyed all the fragrant lavender! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Owner was very helpful and responsive to questions regarding the area. We walked to and from Rose Bowl Stadium.
