"This was a beautiful place to stay for our visit to Cape Breton Island. The view from the house was amazing! We were able to catch both sunrise and sunset while overlooking Bras D'Orr. The hot tub and patio firepit made for a relaxing time. And the privacy was appreciated. One caution is that these are relatively new rentals and while each house is PERFECTLY outfitted, you do drive up a gravel road and driveway with the surrounding land being clear cut for additional cabins. However, once inside and looking out, it is not noticed at all. It is also a bit of a drive if you want to tour the island as we did. This place is best for time hanging out and relaxing. We loved it!"

"Unbelievable setting on coast. Small cabin looks out over a small lake and Gulf of St. Lawrence beyond. The cabin is brand new and well equipped. There is a short path to private beach! Just amazing peace and quiet."

The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time. We will be back and look forward to staying in this home again."

"Wonderful, small place which was exactly what we were looking for. We used it as a base to explore Cape Breton Trail. Master bedroom very nice en suite. Spare bedroom very small. Great woodburning stove! And view was nice."
