Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs. « This is a fantastic place for a family mix of ages. Great deck overlooking the lake. Kayaks were a big hit with the older kids. The house itself was ideal with well appointed kitchen, 5 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms were a godsent. The size of the place meant 9 people and a dog were never on top of each other and the large living room was excellent for evening get togethers. The wifi and TV were good but as noted the phone coverage was next to non-existent (this is the fault of the service...

« The entire experience from the start to the end was very well done. Easy communication, easy arrival andbwell laid out space inside that was decorated in a modern layout with nautical feel. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure, excellent kitchen and family room area. Had everything you needed for your stay, and even some things we hadn't even thought of. Well done you two! »

« Beautiful property . The views from the screened porch and the deck that is up the stairs at the back are more spectacular ! Everything was there that was needed . Super clean , quiet and more spacious than we thought it would be. Would come back any time ! »
