The Rising Tide - Executive Class Mini Villa

The Rising Tide - Executive Class Mini Villa

10/10 Excellent
"The view from this place is worth a million dollars! It was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. The peaceful walk down to the beautiful, secluded beach made it feel like the perfect spot for our romantic getaway. The location was also fantastic and very central to several of our Nova Scotia bucket-list stops, including the Red Shoe Pub, Glenora Distillery, and the Cabot Trail, while still feeling quiet and tucked away. The home was very clean, comfortable, simple, and easy — exactly what we needed. Michael had everything ready for us, including everything we needed for our morning coffee, which was such a nice touch. He took the time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great local recommendations. We were close to everything we needed while still having the peace, privacy, and incredible scenery we were hoping for. We would absolutely recommend this place, especially for couples looking for a quiet Cape Breton getaway with an unforgettable view!"

"We had such a great time at the Mulgrave Mansion! The pictures don't do it justice, it is absolutely stunning and massive. Everything was clean and well-appointed with a great kitchen and all the towels etc. that we could need. We had only planned a quick stopover but wished we could have started longer."

Harbourview Motel & Accommodations

Harbourview Motel & Accommodations

10/10 Excellent
"We had an excellent stay at the Harbourview Motel and Port Hawkesbury was a great location to stay before heading out to drive the Cabot Trail. We had booked one of the motel rooms online, but upon arrival the owner kindly informed us that there had been a cancellation and upgraded us to Room #1 in the Inn free of charge. If you are staying in the Inn you are able to pull your car up directly to the front door which makes unloading/loading very convenient. The check-out process was also extremely convenient as we simply had to leave our key in your room and leave. We did not visit the onsite cafe during our stay, so I cannot speak to that experience. Finally, just note the nearby streets are extremely steep, so take caution when driving to/from the Motel, especially if you are visiting during poor weather conditions."
