Beautiful large home with private pool. This unique custom home is the perfect spot for you to gather with family and friends! The yard and pool add an extra element of fun to your stay! Or consider it ideal for a "working vacation" as you work from "home" while enjoying views of the Valley. Excellent Wi-Fi. Extreme attention to cleanliness is provided for every group. Enjoy the tranquil neighborhood and natural hillside behind the house. You will have the privacy of a very spacious home with a fenced yard, private pool and heated spa. It's the ideal location to return "home" to after exploring the surrounding area. You will find many local wineries, beaches, restaurants, boutiques and hiking trails. Relax and unwind while enjoying expansive views across the entire Lompoc Valley. The house is conveniently located just outside the border of the world-class STA. Rita Hills AVA wine-growing region. Savor unique wine tasting experiences, either in an urban setting such as Lompoc's "Wine Ghetto" or overlooking vast acres of beautiful vineyards. Buellton, Solvang, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and Los Alamos are quaint small towns located just a short drive away through vineyard-covered hillsides. For the aerospace industry, the house is under 20 minutes' drive to most sites on Vandenberg Space Force Base for contractors' convenience. Many rocket launches, including those by SpaceX are visible right from the front yard! It is an easy drive to Santa Barbara, Solvang, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo; you can easily daytrip to both with approximately one-hour drives along Highways 1/101...both with breathtaking coastal views. The house features 4 comfortable bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all with closets and luggage racks. There is a large eat-in gourmet kitchen, with almost anything you might need for cooking provided for your use. The beautiful living room and separate dining room both have expansive views of the Valley. The family/game room is cozy and a perfect spot to hang out while watching your favorite shows on the smart TV, playing Foosball, doing puzzles or playing card games. There is also a fully stocked laundry room which you are free to use. The beautiful and private backyard is lovingly tended by the owners, typically ablaze with color from many floral and succulent blooms. There is a classic pool with a built-in hot tub/spa which were both completely renovated just a few years ago. Views from the backyard are of a natural hillside/canyon, and it is very private. Enjoy yourselves on the redwood decks with three dining sets and a Weber natural gas barbeque. Pool floats are provided. Guests may heat/use the hot tub for up to two hours per day at no extra charge, however heating of the entire pool is considered an EXTRA CHARGE; please contact owner for pricing. During colder winter months, it may NOT be feasible to heat the pool, but use of hot tub is usually possible and up to two hours of soaking per day is included in the nightly price. This home is ideal for extended families or several couples wishing to enjoy the beauty of Western Santa Barbara County with easy access to the entire Santa Ynez Valley and California's Central Coast. It also offers the benefits of a "home-away-from-home" for contractors working in the area or snowbirds looking to escape chilly northern latitudes. Perfect layout for large family with beautiful views overlooking Lompoc. It was October and a bit cooler than we expected and the additional cost to heat the pool was quite expensive so we passed which was unfortunate. With 4 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen, breakfast room, dining room and ‘man cave’ plus a patio and pool, we had plenty of room. Our group consisted of three brothers and spouses who traveled from GA and TN to visit the older brother and his wife in Lompoc. This home was perfect for our purpose, which was to visit and celebrate together. We gathered with niece and nephew, plus a friend, and cooked, ate, talked, and generally enjoyed each other. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and a joy to cook in , even with 3 cooks! The pool area was amazing and large enough for all of us. The laundry area was so convenient, and they even supplied pool towels, Beach hats, and detergent. Bathrooms were nice and large. There was a lovely vintage feel to the home. The view was spectacular! We honestly felt like we paid for a million dollar view with a beautiful home thrown in. We cannot wait to come back. ##### Sharon C. We had 4 kids 10 and under as well as 4 adults. The views of the city lights at night through the picture windows were so serene. Even though rain dampened our plans a tad and only golfed at La Purisima one day, there was still plenty to do as Solvang was an easy 30 minute drive. Jeanne was so responsive and helpful in answering questions and making sure we felt welcomed. The house was exactly as described and the most well maintained older house we’ve ever stayed in! It was so quaint, well decorated, well maintained while not losing the charm of a small town neighborhood. We gushed over the layout as it’s perfect for multi generational families or those with younger kids as the “game room” (that’s what we called it) was clear on the other side of the house from the bedrooms making late night tv watching possible after the kiddos went to bed. (I also had laundry room envy as to how large and well equipped it was!) Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home with us and we CANNOT wait to be back!!
