Serene country setting set among horse ranches with striking mountain views, and yet just 1/2 mile from downtown Santa Ynez.! Country in the "city" -- the perfect location. We are 3 miles from Los Olivos and 4 miles from Solvang. All the comforts of home await you in this Spanish-style home complete with plaster walls, vaulted ceilings and terra cotta tile. It is completely private and separate from the main house where the owners reside with their 2 beloved dogs who are fenced in their own private yard. The great room features a large picture window affording spectacular views of the property, a large gas fireplace with hearth and numerous windows to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds. There is a 43" Smart TV with Netflix and Prime Video, DirecTV service and a DVD player with a wide assortment of DVD's. High speed WiFi recently added. A secretary desk is the perfect place for your computer work. The primary bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed to guarantee a wonderful night's sleep. Windows on either side of the bedroom provide views of the beautiful landscape. The second bedroom offers 2 twin beds which can be separated or combined to form one King size bed. A fully stocked kitchen offers everything for the most industrious cook. Grind your coffee beans and enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch or on the back patio. Full spice rack and cooking oils make it easy to prepare dinner at home. Dining for 4 in adjacent breakfast area. A lovely patio includes a table for 4, additional seating and an outdoor grill. Your covered carport houses a sports locker of sports equipment and a basketball hoop sits across the driveway. This is the perfect getaway for families and couples. Casita is located on a large property that our pup enjoyed wandering around. The hosts are very helpful and also respect your privacy. This place, like Santa Ynez, is about relaxation. It was well stocked and beautifully decorated. It’s minutes away from wine country and old town Santa Ynez. Jeanne and Leo went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It was our family of 4 and our Goldendoodle. There was plenty of room in the casita and tons of space for our dog to play outside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The casita is in a great location. It has a full kitchen with everything you would need but it is a quick drive to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting if you feel like going out. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful property. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun coming over the mountains with the birds singing and the cows and horses surrounding the property. The owners were warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed the homemade bread they left for us as well as the snacks in the kitchen. We loved the beautiful fireplace as well. So relaxing! It’s a lovely casita close, but not too close, to great wine tasting. The property is very relaxing place to just hang out but there are also some fun little towns close by to explore. Jeanne and Leo are gracious, friendly hosts – responsive to questions, respectful of your privacy and keenly aware that you’re on vacation. We had our dog with us and it was a great place for him too – lots to explore and a comfortable, quiet casita to take a nap in. ##### sue j. Enjoyed walking on the grounds and seeing the different animals, and the casita itself is warm and cozy, has everything you need. Very peaceful. Jeanne made me feel very welcome, like a friend staying at their place. All the nearby towns are within 10 minutes and there are tons of wineries in close proximity, so plenty to do. The Casita was perfect for our weekend and was so centrally located to both Santa Ynez and Los Olivos. We were close to everything. The casita is quiet and the grass outside was perfect for our dog who had the best time running around after a long day of wine tasting :) Jeanne and Leo welcomed us with a personalized sign and treats and were always available if we needed anything. It was quiet, beautiful, private, and all within a nice walk to downtown Santa Ynez. Leo and Jeanne are the best hosts. They even had blueberry scones in the fridge for us, which was such a pleasant surprise when arrived hungry after a long drive. We hope to be back soon to explore more places in the area.
