"Brought our dog and kids and it was fantastic! The first floor has a closed in porch area where kids and dog could easily sit and play. Fantastic for families or people with pets. "

"I’ve stayed at this Inn with my small dog many times since COVID and it’s always a pleasure. The lobby and dining areas have been refurbished with a nautical theme. The staff is friendly and helpful. This location on a California State Park is scenic, restful, and very unique. There are several options for rooms around the property. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. A Happy Hour during the week attracts diners who can sit and admire the view and sunsets. I love coming here and seeing the staff behind the front desk who are so nice. "
"This is not just a hotel, this is an experience! Stayed here for you one while taking in Hearst Castle, which was also awesome. The staff at Cavalier were great, the setting is stunning, the rooms are great, and the grounds are all set up for you to relax and take in the majesty of the ocean. The three firepit areas had roaring fires at each and was a great way to enjoy a glass of wine, the fire, other travellers, and the ocean.Would highly recommend this hotel."

"You should definitely check out this awesome little hotel! We were blown away by how friendly the staff was from start to finish. It's not a fancy resort, but it's super cozy and perfect for a laid-back stay. The location is so peaceful, with the sound of waves right outside your window and cute little frogs croaking nearby. Trust me, coming from a hectic metro area, this place is a breath of fresh air.
I'll definitely be telling all my friends and family about this gem. And you can bet I'll be booking a room here again next time we're in town.
Just a heads up, some of the buildings like Cambria and San Simeon don't have elevators due to the rules, but they made sure to accommodate us on the first floor since we needed it. And yeah, there's no A/C, just fans, but honestly, with the cool weather we had in June, it wasn't an issue at all. So keep that in mind when you're planning."

"What a great room felt like I rented an apartment instead of a hotel room. One of the quietest peaceful environments and there garden walk has inspired my wife to get hers going. Staff was helpful and courteous the whole time"
