  • 3.5 acre end of the road Custom built home, on a small lake perfect for kayaking or fishing. Within minutes to multiple larger lakes and beaches. This area is secluded, spacious and peaceful with many different areas on the property to relax with friends and family. The large deck is a great place to grill out and to watch the spectacular sunsets. Perfect for a week long stay. Five quaint river towns are within a half hour drive.

It was a great rental for us! We had eight adults, and the varied spaces allowed us room to be together and talk or split up in different ways and have some space. The extra sinks in three of the bedrooms is a nice supplement for a full house with 2 bathrooms, one being in the master bedroom upstairs. There is a lot of nature to see, in a beautiful area. The three level deck is very good!!! We agreed - we can't imagine how our time could have been better, and an important part of that was "Lakehouse @ Lindstrum"! The lake had a lot of algae and wasn't very inviting for swimming or kayaking, but it was available. The front door handle should be replaced. It worked fine, but isn't the correct handle for the door. (Not really complaining, just providing what I hope is helpful feedback.

Just finished a 3 night stay for 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was perfect for size and amenities. Everything was very clean. Secluded location at the end of a gravel road. Great deck and backyard. Located on a lake but the lake was mostly lily pads. We did have an issue with the water the morning after arrival but a neighbor who looks after the house got a well person there in an hour and the water issue was fixed in short order. This is a home we would certainly return to.
