The bed is comfortable and the garden and outdoor space are gorgeous and relaxing. We ate breakfast outside each morning and grilled dinner one night. The lighting features added such ambiance and cheer. I loved napping in the Nordic Nook as it was so very cozy. The outdoor space is private and pretty. We grilled out and utilized the propane fire pit on the cool evenings. Check-in was a breeze and Carolyn was very responsive to our questions. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It's a convenient location close to the airport, lakes and anything you could need is a quick drive away. As a solo female traveler I feel safe staying at the cottage. It is tucked away behind the main house and gives a sense of privacy. I have used the separate space called the Nordic nook in the past to paint or relax. It's a great additional space when traveling. The details put into the landscaping, the space and decor are what makes it stand apart from other rentals.
