"Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, daily housekeeping (yay!) and convenient to Patriots Point and downtown Charleston (with some planning by water taxi or hotel shuttle). Weather was unseasonably cold when we were there but this place amazingly offered a well-heated pool and beautiful outdoor hot tub overlooking the harbor. Big points for that. It was very relaxing. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds were very nice. Unfortunately they had some sort of mechanical issue with the HVAC system on our floor and we had to climb over workers' tools and disassembled cabinets to get to and from our room--and there was some noise from the construction work, which also was a bit of a bummer. But we dealt with it. Only other issues were that this property advertised laundry facilities but did not have any in the hotel, and the shuttle, which runs every hour into Charleston would leave people if it got full and would not come back for another hour. I would recommend sending a backup shuttle to pick people up if there are crowds--rather than stranding people in town and forcing them to take an Uber home. "

"The sink is cracked. The baseboard was coming off the wall. The Fridge wasn’t working The shower handle is loose. The shower ceiling had peeling paint throughout. The drawers was still have leftover tags from the previous guest For the price, this was far too expensive for the condition of the room. I have stayed in hotels with much better conditions for a much lower cost. "
