"The staff were super friendly and went beyond accommodating. They do not have an elevator and put us on the 3rd floor but had staff to bring our luggage. It wouldn't work for someone that had mobility issues but we were ok. We only stayed one night and it served our purpose as a transition to La Fortuna since they shuttled us to and from the airport-nice. The free breakfast was also very good. The restaurant looked nice but we walked a bit and found a plaza with a few excellent choices. Dinner was excellent and reasonable. Outside the few restaurants near by there is NOTHING to reach on foot. It is great if you are passing through and very pretty."

"I stayed here for one night on my way into Costa Rica and one night on my way out. Both times were very positive. It is clean. The bed was comfortable. The little dog Nonya was a joyful welcoming presence. But, primarily I will say the biggest plus for me was that I felt safe. As a solo female traveller that's important to me. I had the oatmeal for breakfast with fruit. It was great. I would absolutely stay here again."
