I complained and the reception just didn’t care. I demanded a different room still the same. Don’t go here. The alley is also small, cars almost don’t fit. Sketchy alley. It was a cheap option. The staff was nice. I did not really like Kuta in general, very crowded, Many annoying vendors on the streets and on the beach (every 3 meters) and a lot of trash in the water, I would never swim there !! The hotel was OK but could be better. The bed sheet did not look very clean and it smelled very strong of naphtaline, I had to pick them up and then the room still smell bad.. The ceiling fan was not strong enough, it was really hot and sticky. There was many mosquitos in the room and no mosquito net.
