This property is huge and more commercial. I'd choose a villa on the premises next time. The garden room was small and cozy, but the bathroom appeared old and lacked character. The pool bar was being renovated, so the beauty of the pool was missed. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and courteous. I would book again but with different expectations.

The Hotel is old We weren’t told the swim up bar was being renovated lots of noise and dust while swimming or on the loungers.No safety measures .My wife had a fall on the stairs and no help was provided.No accident report was provided even though we reported the accident.We should be given a part refund as the Kartika Plaza is living on past reputation.On a positive note the breakfast and pool staff were excellent always smiling and attentive Regards Phil & Ellen Wilson

There were no black tea bags provided in the rooms just Jasmine tea and we needed to go to the reception to argue our case as they didnt provide it in the rooms. Food and alcoholic prices are way too unreasonable as they are at par with Australia

We found everything satisfactory. Service and staff was excellent. The bathroom could be up graded, if that's not possible at the moment the tiles could be regrouted and new silicone sealer around bath and basin.

The gardens and pool are spectacular at this property. Unfortunately the menu has changed and has mostly fish and seafood which we are allergic to so we could not eat much at the restaurants. The buffet breakfast is excellent though.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful, kind and friendly at every opportunity. Our flight was delayed again and the reception staff found a way to allow us to check out late despite the hotel being very busy. The spa services are excellent, including well priced massages, great tennis courts, a good gym and the sauna which is always hot enough. Breakfast is great too and they have live music every night at the beachfront restaurant.
