Just OK, but would not stay again

This was an OK stay, as it was a good location and did the job for me to sleep and store my things, but I will not be back again. The first room I was assigned to smelled very musty and my bed wasn’t cleaned with new sheets, so I had to go to the reception to get a new room assignment. They don’t give you a top sheet for the bed, but the fitted sheet to cover the mattress had stuff on it — a small rubber piece, fuzz and hairs. They give just a thin blanket which I questioned its cleanliness since there were also hairs on it. The bathroom stalls were tiny so hard to move around in, and there was no hand soap at the sink to wash your hands. The soap pump in the shower was broken so it was difficult to get soap out but I eventually got it after many attempts. The lockers in the hostel room were broken so I had to leave my things in the lockers outside of the room. There are no elevators so if you’re on the top floor like I was, it made it difficult to carry your bags up and down — especially since the receptionist doesn’t show you your room and help you bring your bags up like many other hostels do. However, the location was good with the Central Market and Chinatown right in the area, and close walking distance to Merdeka Square.

Nothing fancy but comfortable enough

A good spot when in town before traveling to the interior. It was a short walk to the bus station to Taman Negara.

No idea how this property has such high reviews. We left almost immediately and booked ourselves somewhere else nearby. The room was very basic, which would have been fine, but was also not clean. Sheets and beds had stains, traces of bed bugs, and only a dirty looking blanket to cover you that didn't look like it had been washed. Staff member barely reacted when we handed back the keys and said we were leaving - just rolled his eyes and took the key, so I assume we aren't the first to leave early!

this place attracts a lot of older men and the toilets missing toilet paper. You’ll arrive and then just leave to another place because you didn’t like it. This place also looks sketchy at night.

混んでもないのにチェックインの時から３０分も待たされました。 常にロビーで、スタッフの方が横になって寝ている為通るのも、気になる。インド系な人が経営してるので、清潔さはなかった 下がレストランの事で、窓はは空いて、レストランの匂いで、寝られないです。 エアコンはあるが、付けてから掃除は一度もしてない感じで、大変汚れてます。多くの所を旅してましたが、基本的な事が出来てなかったです。

住宿環境還不錯的旅館

旅館附近有中央藝術坊 (Central Market), 走路到茨廠街市場 (Jalan Petaling) 或是嘉美回教堂 ( MasjidJamek )也很近. 櫃台的服務人員也很友善

The carpet in the guest rooms smells very bad. Carpet needs to be pulled up ASAP. Otherwise it's a nice place, friendly staff.

Ikke det bedste sted

Man vælger et sted pga WiFi, og så dur det ikke 2 ud af 3 dage. Useriøst at de ikke får en tekniker hurtig ud. Værelset. Beskidt. Kakkerlakker. Svampelignede substans på vægge. Værelset lugtede meget indelukket og var ikke til at sove i. Helt sikkert ikke sundt. Ellers flinkt personale. Morgenmad bestod af kaffe/the og toast

Centralt beliggende

Boede her ad to omgange. Først i værelse 208 og en uge senere i værelse 201. Værelse 208.:God seng. Intet vindue. God aircondition. Ingen trafikstøj. Badeværelse lige overfor. Værelse 201 har vinduer ud mod gaden. Trafikstøjen hører man ikke på grund af en støjende og ikke virkende aircondition (mangler nok bare rensning og kølemiddel). Så sov med åbent vindue. Udsigt til toppen af Menara Dayabimi bygningen. Værelset virker lidt større end værelse 208. Om stedet: god wifi i lobbyen (ingen wifi på værelserne). Renlighed afhænger nok meget at gæsterne den pågældende dag (de ansatte gør hvad de kan for at holde orden). Tag sko med op på værelset (der sker let forbytninger). Enkel morgenmad bestående af hvidt brød/kaffe/te. Centralt placeret i rolige omgivelser (stedets størst styrke). Der er tagterasse med en smule udsigt. Bor her gerne igen på grund af beliggenheden og den afslappede stemning.

Explorers Guesthouse was a great place to stay for a few days in Kuala Lumpur. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and always available. There is a free light breakfast (toast and assorted jellies), coffee and tea, and WiFi throughout the building. The location is centrally located near Chinatown, several markets and is within walking distance of KL Eco Park.

Chambre confortable et propre, personnel très sympathique. Seuls bémols : l'air conditionné était bruyant et les toilettes avaient une légère odeur qui laissait à désirer (ne vous méprenez pas sur ce dernier point: rien d'insalubre)

The guy at reception was unhelpful I can say. When I asked place, just explain Virvary but not clear enough of course. and when I asked him more detail, he said “just cross over the road and you can see “ and in the end I couldn’t find it :( he shouldn’t be like that if you he is at receptionist Shower water is very very weak.
