« Easy check in with key safe. Local representative came made sure everything ok, explaine how things work, gave some local insight into the area. Owners only a phone call away if needed, excellent communication. Extensively well stocked kitchen, anything you think you'll need is there. Amazing views, super peaceful. You definitely need a car as no shops cafes or restaurants nearby. Do a tesco delivery but do it at least 3 weeks before arrival date. Tried week before our arrival and no avaiable...

« Gite bien équipé avec une très grande pièce de vie au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée, deux chambres à l'étage. Splendide vue sur le loch Awe. Gite confortable au milieu de la nature. Balades à faire au milieu de la nature au pied de la porte(point de vue cascade....) Accès facile au loch au besoin. 45min de inveraray, une heure 15 de Oban, 30 des sites de kilmartin Nous l avons habité une semaine avec trois enfants sans problème. »

« Nice cabin. Could have been cleaner inside and on balcony. Felt very small inside for four people. we stayed for two nights before this cabin in a neighbouring cabin which was bigger, cleaner, up to date, had a hot tub, and was much cheaper so we didn’t think this cabin was as good a deal as it wasn’t cheap. Beautiful surroundings. Felt private too. »

« Had a wonderful four days in this lovely old home. It felt like we went back in time. We enjoyed watching the sailboats go thru the locks in the canal. We only wish that we could read about the history of the house. We explored the area taking day trips… to Oban, Campbeltown, Southend, Tarbert etc.We give a thumbs up for having a full size washer and dryer. All the other places we stayed at had small washer/dryer combos or just a small washer and no dryer… that makes it hard when traveling for...

« We have just returned from a wonderful holiday! The property is great, and the view over the loch is magical. We saw seals and dolphins from the window. There are so many comfortable places to sit and watch the wildlife. The beds were very comfortable, and the property had everything we needed. Rhona the owner was very helpful, and the neighbours were so friendly. The area is beautiful - we enjoyed walking along the canal and around the forests and visiting places along the way. »

« My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended. »
