The renovations are extensive. New extra large kitchen island with ocean view seating: all new appliances in the kitchen: new stone counter tops throughout the home: new cabinets throughout the home: new tile in all the showers: all new shower and bathroom fixtures: new laundry room cabinets, counter tops, faucets and appliances. Located on the third tier on the south side of the Ho’olei Resort on Maui, our two-level villa has spectacular Pacific Ocean views and is perfectly perched to capture the crystal blue sky during the day and breathtaking sunsets in the evenings. The Hibiscus model is the largest floor plan within Ho'olei resort with over 4,305 square feet of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Your family and friends will enjoy the seclusion and privacy of the three en-suite bedrooms/bathrooms. And our generous great room offers areas for conversation, dining and entertaining. The sun-filled master bedroom includes a walk-out lanai, a private garden-yard with ocean views, oversized jetted bath and walk-in shower. Two additional bedroom en-suites each include spacious bathrooms,. The upstairs guest room has a large closet and a Juliette balcony. Our home has an extra-large gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero Refrigerators and Freezers and Wolf Cooktop and Microwave/Oven. Enjoy the sunset as you BBQ on the second-level covered lanai. The expansive great room offers areas for conversation, dining and entertaining. This home is equipped with Sound Bar, DVD player, HBO, High speed internet, Games/Books and Puzzles and many more. Relax, sunbathe or read your new book outdoors, on one of the fully furnished lanais. The outdoor semi-private backyard lawn is a great spot for the kids to play and explore, or for some outdoor exercise and yoga. Ho'olei's central location at the most popular resort on Maui! Wailea, on the leeward south-western side of Maui, is the driest part of the Island. The rainfall is moderate, about 20 inches on average per year, so most days of the year, even in the rainy winter months, the sun is shining and the evening are pleasant and comfortable! Ho'olei is in the town of Wailea and nestled in between the Four Seasons Resort, the Grand Wailea Resort, and the Wailea Beach Villas. The shops at Wailea are within walking distance, as well as the new Wailea Village Center. You will be able to walk to most of the places you need to go, but we absolutely recommend you rent a car, and hit the road to enjoy the variety of attraction Maui has to offer. We stayed at the same vacation rental our first two times there. While we loved it, it was in upcountry and took almost an hour to drive to Wailea Beach. We decided that if we ever went back to Maui we would have to find a place closer to the beach and other things to do. I was worried that we wouldn’t find a place that we liked as much, however, this place was everything we could have wanted and more! We went to celebrate my oldest daughter’s high school graduation, and it was a perfect trip of relaxation with beautiful views from the home and convenient access to everything you could want to do in the area. The house is beautifully decorated and a perfect layout. We just loved opening the sliding doors as soon as we woke up in the morning so that we could enjoy the outdoors and beautiful view of the beach while we were drinking our coffee and eating breakfast. The house is so well stocked and there’s nothing we needed outside of food. we appreciated having so many beach towels and accessories as well and a garage for the car. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable! Really can’t say enough wonderful things about the place and the hosts were very responsive to my questions before and during our stay. We called hosts near the end of our stay to ask for a portable shower handle support (master bath is a large open one - no wall or door at the entrance or end, but were told all of the units are built that way - no help offered. Removable one could be purchased at Home Depot, etc. Had to make do with sponge baths and husband's support - kind of put a big damper on the stay - Tried the other 2 showers in unit and they had no support handles either - very dangerous! In the past I’ve always opted to stay at hotels and resorts. In this case, however, I wanted to be able to bring my family, including my adult children and one year old grandchild, together under one roof with some of the conveniences of home, such as kitchen and laundry, that are particularly helpful to accommodate an infant. I couldn’t have been happier. The unit was spacious, clean and very well provisioned for a week-long stay, including a high chair, pack and play and even pool floats and beach toys for the baby. The family had a marvelous vacation and spent more time together than we possibly could have if we had been in separate (and pricey) hotel rooms. The complex was also ideally located in Wailea with easy access to beaches, hotels, shops, golf etc. Would happily stay there again. ##### Jordan S. Eric, our contact, was super helpful even before our trip and made sure we had everything we needed. I’m quite particular about cleanliness and this place was impeccable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. I actually fell ill during the trip and was glad to have such a spacious place to recuperate in. And the view is spectacular and you can watch the sunset from both the living area and master bedroom. The location in Wailea is perfect and close to so many activities. The little gourmet market nearby had delicious options for us as well. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
