The location is great for getting around to places in Kihei and Wailea. You can walk to beaches, restaurants and shops. The king size bed is very comfortable and unusually cool weather combined for restful nights. Vacasa provided a nice welcome-to-Maui kit (snacks, kukui leis, and such). While all these are positives, be aware the unit itself is woefully bare of essentials we have come to expect in other condos we’ve stayed at on Maui. Kitchen is set up for 1-2 people, with only a few plates, glasses and such in the cupboards. No storage containers. Also, there’s no dining table, no cocktail table (we used a bench as that). There are no hooks to hang clothes or hats anywhere in the unit. It’s almost as if the owner has remodeled the kitchen and bathroom and has yet to finalize decorating. That said, we’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here; just be aware of what is provided and what’s not. ##### John B.
