« We booked this for us and my brother and his wife as we were attending the Keswick Convention on the Pencil factory site. It is an ideal location, a 5 minute walk to the tent. It is also ideally located for the town and Booths the supermarket. We have done trips to Coniston, Ullswater and Cockermouth. All a manageable drive. Thoroughly recommend it, clean and modern and well equipped place. »

The only thing we would add would be an clothes airier as after lake water sports and getting wet walking hard to get clothes dried in small area above Washing Machine or maybe a tumble dryer would be of benefit. « From booking to check out everything was so easy. Communication was excellent and detailed. We spent a good bit of time hiking the nearby trails then enjoying a pint in one of the lovely pubs in town. An easy walk to a great market for those that wish to cook. It has great hiking snacks as well. Fell in love with the chicken chorizo scotch egg, it may be the perfect hiking snack. Be sure to stop by one of the many pubs for great beer and food.
