"Sharon is a wonderfully accommodating host, very friendly and professional, and eager to share useful local knowledge. The room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast options are variable and delicious. There is on street parking opposite for people with cars, we had no problem parking and the car was visible from our room. We would definitely stay at the Burnside again and can highly recommend it."

The room and en suite bathroom was too small but we were told that it's the room the hotels.com had allocated us. Cooked breakfast, cereals and variety of fruits available."

"What a beautiful location for a lodge! The lodge itself was well presented and clean with everything you would need, but by far the best things are the views and the peace. You are only 15mins away from Keswick. We will definitely be back."
