"The main hotel building is pretty good, cozy, recently renovated, however the annex building is far from that - it has a vibe of 1980s apartment complex, also not the cleanest. Views are lovely, as well as the area around. The breakfast is pretty bad - choices are limited, quantity is such that everything runs out quickly and, generally, the restaurant is far from great, offering canteen-quality food at Michelin-starred prices."

Quick to solve some issues we encountered (allergies for bedding), large rooms for a family of 5, nice playground for the kids and close to the highway to continue our trip. Ansonsten sehr guter Aufenthalt bis auf den Check-in. Die Terminals zum eigenständigen Check-in haben nicht funktioniert. Da niemand vor Ort war, haben wir insgesamt fast eine Stunde gebraucht um einzuchecken und ich musste 5 bis 6 mal bei der Service Hotline anrufen, was durch Roaming leider auch teuer war."

If you're looking for something in the city center, this might not be the hotel for you - but as a someone pass through and stopping in Basel for a night, it was perfect. Affordable for Switzerland. Very large rooms. We were there during a heatwave and not only was the AC great, but the hotel had ice and water. Very good internet (I had some work video calls and was a little nervous after traveling to some other hotels around Europe). Would 100% stay there again. Felt like it was a great find. "
