"While the staff was nice, the listing on Expedia is misleading. There was no laundry facility, the pictures showed a bathroom facility that was much nicer than ours, there was no staff on site when we arrived, and the first day we were there, there was no hot water for showers, until they turned the heater back on."

"Not a good experience at all. To start the wifi info is not posted anywhere at all, meaning you are stranded if you don't have a sim. Further, the rooms are not marked with the numbers and the owner is nowhere around. If it weren't for my taxi driver calling the owner and me exploring the building I would not have known which room was mine. "old and dirty linens in bed for new guest, stain and hair on duvet and sheets, towels look very old and dirty. water pressure from tap on and off, no shampoo and conditioners in 2 of 3 rooms that we booked. very pleasant stay. for second night we had to forked out $14,400 to stay in Jinhu Hotel. we did not stay in this hostel!"

"Staff was very friendly and warm! The complimentary breakfast buffet was also very nice. The rooms were alright—it is definitely good for a short stay up to a couple days. If I come back to Kinmen, I will definitely consider staying here again!"
